This is an excellent summary of the right brain. I had a very dominant right brain after I had a left brain stroke. The left brain was injured so the right brain stepped up. Amazingly I also learn back my English, which is a left brain thing. Now, my right side isn’t as prominent but I can easily call it up, being an art teacher. Need the flow!

The two hemispheres are in a sense autonomous.. with only the corpus colosseum facilitating communication between the two.. in fact, if the corpus colosseum is severed, the persons perception will remain intact as each hemisphere still receives visual and auditory input…though it cannot be shared. Interesting situation comes up when the hemisphere without the speech centre (Broca’s area) is given an object behind a curtain.. they will know that what they are holding with their left hand…they just won’t be able to say what it is.. until the curtain is removed and the visual cortex feed the information to the left hemisphere. This situation will be the same if the left hand simply hands the object.

This is somewhat described in Myers-Briggs, particularly the division between Intuition and Sensory. Both process information from entirely different brain structures, and involve different processes.

Could it be?: The two hemisphere doing separate things are only recorded by brains who got separated. It is similar like breaking up a magnet who got different opposing poles that doesn’t meant that it was like that before
