Totally disagree, that wasn't a fist bump, that was Paul saying that these elders added nothing to his faith as in, he learned nothing from them. To say, "those who seemed to be something added nothing to me", is, at the very least, to discount them and, if said harshly, quite a rebuke. Paul is clearly different than John, Peter & especially James so, this continuing effort to make them agree with each other simply does not ring true.
