This is great, now I want a happy uplifting version of “I Am All of Me”

The fact that they used the word "edgy" means they know what they did, this is a big improvement from the original one in my opinion

Ever since Tyler Smyth joined the main songwriting for the franchise he has done nothing but collaborate on great songs like the Infinite theme or his own remix of Green Light Ride, I really hope Tyler is involved as songwriter and vocalist on Sonic Frontiers.

Rock in Sonic the Hedgehog just fits in naturally…like 100% of the time. Whether be Metal, Hard Rock, Punk, etc. But a little electronic/techno doesn’t go wrong either when it BOPS.

I actually like the normal Fist Bump, but bringing the guitar and everything back just makes this sound so much more like Sonic. We're going to war with Eggman here, but fighting stronger together despite that.

I feel like rock like this symbolises most of the old adventure era. There was a lot of rock, as well as rap, and a bit of pop, but rock is what I think when I hear "Sonic". I love this remix so much

This has the vibe of one of those songs a children's anime dubbing company would replace an anime's insert song with but it goes strangely hard anyway, and I love that about this

Man I’d kill for a remix of “This machine” from sonic heroes from this guy. He’d be perfect!

Calling this the "edgy" remix is really underselling it. This is a fantastic new version of an absolutely amazing song. So in love with what everyone involved created here ^-^

Fist Bump was already an awesome song for the franchise when Forces came out and it remains that way with this remix!

The fact that the official Sonic the hedgehog account has used the word edgy is amazing

Bro, what if Sonic Forces, but it was just the Episode Shadow levels? And, and, like, what if it was just Shadow Forces?

This is what the music should've been like. Considering it's always how the franchise's music sounded like making it consistent to what we've always heard in the past. I wouldn't call it "edgy" music either since it's more like a specific genre of music. Might as well end up calling the metal genre edgy music lmao
Really love this version, though

there's a lot more going on here than people realize.

many musicians have a certain sequence they favor using often. you can have notes be positioned spacially the same, but in a different key, and doing this makes it hard for most people to tell anything is going on there.

jun senoue, is very well known for this.

it's a self referential thing that holds a lot of meaning for many musicians, and you end up hearing bits and pieces that are familiar.

most people wont realize : this song is LITTERED with these little references.

- i am all of me
- open your heart
- live and learn
- all hail shadow

this is what happens when you actually care about the music you're making.

Infinite and Shadow would be proud with the amount of edge in this song
