A very big thank you to you all for 5000 subscriptions. Also, a very special thank you to everybody who commented on my videos and engaged in a discussion with me. Finally, a thank you to those who rated my videos, even if you disliked them 😅

I also have questions for you: Do you see ads when watching my channel (it’s not monetized)? If you see ads, should I monetize it to escape YouTube’s throttling of non-monetized channels? And do you know how to bring back the dislikes?

Youtube made a change a year or so ago, they inserted adverts on videos/channels even if they aren't monetised.
You might as well monetise if you have the option, I think that will give you some control over where the adverts appear.

I'm been using the dislike plugin since the moment Youtube removed it. I'm astonished it still works TBH!

No advert when I clicked on this, personally I am desensitised to the ads at the front and end of videos and I believe that YES monetize ! why not get some revenue ? again personally I have not avoided a video I wanted to see because of adverts, YouTube is still a fantastic place to share skills and knowledge and I enjoy your content...cheers.

Congratulation for your 5000 subscribers! I don't see ads, but also perhaps because I have an adblocker on Firefox and another one directly on my Internet box.

YouTube play adverts regardless if you have them turned on or not, turn on monitization, you might as well take your cut to help finance your channel.

I use an ad blocker on firefox so i never see youtube ads. I only see ads if i use the app on my phone. So personally ot wont affect me either way.
