This dudes a genius. Not only is he training the dog, he’s training his viewers on how to do these exercises on their own. He’s using explanation of what he wants to do, reasoning in why he is doing it, then constantly repeats what we need to do to try these exercises at home properly. He’s a great teacher for dogs and humans as well. Awesome stuff 👍🏼

You are the only trainer who I can watch your videos and not feel stupid or awful about myself that we have been doing things wrong, you explain things so well & reassure that things can be changed ! Thank you so much, we are going to try this on our 6 month old Husky who picks and chooses when he wants to return!

My wife and i have recently rescued a 10 month old bullmastiff. Who had absolutely no manners no recal and would not walk on a lead. We have followed your advice incredibly close and he now walks on the lead without issue, brilliant recall and excellent manners. Thankyou so much will 🙏🙌

I train service dogs for a living and I love how this man thinks and trains.

My friends and family call me the “dog whisperer”. I’ve always trained my own dogs and have worked with the pups of friends. I’m always looking to learn and watch as many trainers on YouTube as I can. This man is a superb trainer. So positive. So caring. The dogs he works with are lucky pups. Thank you sir for your content!

Obviously a great dog trainer, but it’s impressive how good of a human trainer he is. The explanations are very easy to see, hear and understand. The repetition is exactly perfect: sufficient but not overbearing. Really great video.

I love watching his videos! He’s realistic and it’s nice to see you doing this with older dogs and not just puppies.

I’m not a professional trainer but I’ve always taught all my dogs to recall to a marine whistle. This is a whistle attached to life jackets and can be heard for miles over a flat terrain like water and can be heard by dogs from great distances even in city like terrain. I use liverwurst as the reward for the recall to the whistle. To me having a way to recall a dog might wonder off to a distance beyond what our voices can travel is possibly lifesaving. Great video! Love your content!!

Oh, my, I am so thankful for your wisdom! My almost two-year old Golden Retriever is a huge leash puller. In twenty minutes this morning, employing your techniques, she responded beautifully, and we had so much fun! Thank you ever so much!

Our golden retriever breeder gave us our puppy with a whistle. They trained all the pups from very very young, whisteling and then putting their food down. When we got him, the recall was already in place. Today he is almost 5 and he comes back perfectly! I absolutely agree to train a dig from early age (when possible). Thanks for your great videos.

I'm a dog trainer in the U.S.A. I have a client with a Weimaraner who is struggling with recall. I asked him to buy a 30 foot recall training leash, which he did, but he is still struggling even with my instruction. It was raining today during our lesson and not good for training recall. I just sent him this video so that he could really understand what I'm talking about. Thank you Will for posting. It gets the message across very well.

I'm so glad I found u today.. These are the best training videos on YT. I've watched Cesar, who I love, but he is so vague. Nothing concrete I can do. It's like most trainers don't want to give away their secrets. U are so informative, pls keep making videos.

I am in school to be a dog obedience instructor, and I am here to tell ya, I learn more from your videos than anything I learn in school! I absolutely love your teaching style. Thank you so much for all you share! You are truly gifted.

You are amazing. My 2 year old female GS is very reactive towards other dogs. After watching this video I took her in the yard to work on these recall skills. About 10 minutes in, a neighbor one house down let his dog out (the dog is nice and never leaves his yard). My GS began her barking and began to run towards the trigger, however as soon as I called her back to me, she came running because she knew she would get praise and treats. Thank you for your videos!

thank you so much! everyone just kept telling me to "use a long leash and treats" but actually seeing it and having the explanation of why we do each step is super helpful. I know what I'm doing with my dog this week!
