What Was The Earth Like During The Jurassic Period?

Approximately 65 million years ago, the Earth was inhabited by reptiles of all sizes and colors; these managed to thrive for millions of years to dominate every corner of the planet, from the Earth to the sky and the oceans. But one fateful day, a massive rock from space ended this paradise, causing a cataclysm that eliminate 70% of living beings, ending the reign of those who, until then, ruled the world.
But what was the planet like during the time of the dinosaurs before the meteorite fell? Did the same plants exist as today? Were there winters?

Mesozoic
The planet's history is divided into eras, periods, and other classifications created by paleontologists to mark the beginning and end of important dates in the fossil record.
The beginning of the great reptiles (Triassic)
During the Triassic, almost all lands were concentrated in a single continent centered roughly on the equator called Pangaea.

The Golden Age of Dinosaurs (Jurassic)
After the emergence of the first dinosaurs, they would soon spread and populate the entire planet, filling every hole and every corner of the world with an immense variety of animals that adapted to all ecosystems.

The beginning of the end (Cretaceous)
The dinosaurs' reign extended for almost 200 million years, and during all that time, they evolved and adapted to give rise to species that still live with us today.

Two things I love Dinosaurs and astronomy. I’d love to see the final days of the dinosaurs done here!

wonderful short, great graphics
you might want to take a look at the pronunciations for the following: ornithopods not orinthopods; triassic not trisaic etc; film editor probably should have been more aware of these during final cut; but overall, very nicely done.

One more for your "Best of...". And yes, I'd like to see a video about dinosaurs' last day.

Stegosaurus, what a fascinating creature. Deserves his own video.

Congratulations again.

What would be cool is looking at that transition time from the last of the dinosaurs to the beginnings of modern living animals

You’re pronouncing Triassic wrong throughout.

Serious question . If a flood happened like science now says probably did, then wouldn’t the geological column be an inaccurate way to date fossils?

The only Dino left is not birds, you forgot about lizards, you know....alligators and crocodiles

Dinosaurs are not "reptiles" but an entirely different class of animals.

In the Jurassic Period
Earth wasn't inhabited
By YouTube announcers with loud annoying voices and limited knowledge in the subject of which he barks

It wasn’t called the Jurassic period it was called the cretaceous period

If you do a last days of the dinosaurs thing, I hope you'll explore more than the asteroid theory, including the Indus Traps that were erupting in roughly the same time frame as the asteroid impact. Though much smaller than the scale of the Siberian Traps Permian extinction event, there's evidence that they contributed to the overall K-T catastrophe that wiped out the dinosaurs and 70% of all life on the planet. In other words, look into a multitude of factors rather than just plop down on the asteroid impact theory. Cheers....

Very interesting. If only you didn't keep mispronouncing "pterosaurs"...

There were so many mispronunciations in this video I have a hard time believing it wasn't an AI doing the voice-over. Laughable.
