Literature Search in PubMed Tutorial | Keyword Search Strategy Part 2

Basic introduction to searching for research papers using pubmed database.

Last week I shared a video on how to develop your keywords for your literature search and in this video we are using those keywords to carry out the literature search. I am doing the examples in PubMed but I also use google scholar, and I tend to employ citation tracing as one of the main ways to find papers. Using boolean operators, truncation, searching for phrases, refining your search by title/abstract, and creating an alert. However, there is an idea, that how you include these (say particular) searches into 'Systematic Review (SR)' and creat a review form. That's too much to ask considering Systematic Review as process, but it would be great if you can walk through and create small 'systematic review'.

I am a new Researcher, just got into my phd . The constant problem i face is defining my Research question and finding the Research gap. I am just not able to do it.
