CVMA 2022-23, Round 1, Sat, AFO Race Start

2019 Ducati V4, first race of the new CVMA season. Brutally hot: 113F air, 150F track temps. I figured it would be 50/50 that I'd have heat issues during the race, but right into T1, the bike into 40-mph limp mode (root cause was a faulty signal coming from my Domino racing throttle). Pretty scary but thankfully the starting incident and immediate red flags saved me from being collected. I think the looped rider/bike got hit by a couple riders behind. I hope everyone is mostly okay. Stuff happens in racing!
