How does the locking crown having anything to do with being too cheap for automatic movements. Quartz doenst like to be filled up with water any more then mechanical.

Still a pocket watch base for a lot of money. But it has something that other brands don't have... Too bad how the company advertises with an "inhouse" movement....

I’m looking for a 1950 case, black/vintage dial with golden hands. The nearest one to my desire is the PAM127, followed by the 422.

The only downside is that they’re both 47mm, but that’s part of wearing an actual Panerai. It’s a guilty pleasure to pull the trigger on one of these.

I love the sandwich dial more than this style, but Panerai watches are way too big for me anyway

Prior to 2017 it had a sandwich dial, it is now a sausage dial. I have a 16’ sandwich dial and I LOVE IT!!! It’s a strap monster and virtually no one knows what it is….

What's the crown guard locking system for?

No other watch has it.

Is it of any use?
