If the M200 is pointless compared to high spec phones then you might as well say every APS-C sensor camera is useless because they all have the same sensor sizes as the M200 and many also sell with basic kit lenses which need upgrading. Yet you are judging the M200 on its kit lens and absence of "pro" controls. But they are all there within the LCD menus rather than dials to save on weight, size and offer a budget price. It also has new sensor software as good as any other APS-C camera and it has excellent autofocus. It has cut down "pro" CONVENIENCE features but it still takes good, sharp pictures like any APS-C camera. Most smartphones take great pictures nowadays too, but things fall apart when you need optical zoom or flexibility.

Would've been more useful, if you can provide shots taken from both iPhone 11 Pro and a M200. Also, what about added lenses over the m200. Won't it be better than a standard iPhone11 ?

The amount of data produced by a camera sensor is giant compared to the iPhone's tiny sensor.

The m200 is great and you can take pictures with full quality then choose the best and send them to your iPhone directly.

I have Samsung Galaxy S10. I would be interested for an upgrade and not sure if Fujifilm X-A7 would worth to pay more for it, in comparison with Canon M200. Or in fact... if either of the cameras would actually be an upgrade from S10. What do you think? I would be interested strictly on photo quality.

Please don't compare APS-C SENSOR with an flagship smartphone sensor.

Or are you still one of the fellows who actually beliefs the iphone pro 11 has 3 lenses? WOW... that is so PRO how fast those tiny lenses are. And 4K or 8K from that Pro 11 sensor and lenses they can keep. I take 1080P on the m200 with nice big pixels low pixel-density. Marketing it is. This been said, I have nothing against smartphone photographing. I like it. The real entry-level camera's you could be comparing with are those with sensor's under 1". These days they call everything "PRO". The price in fact is the only thing "PRO"on it.

There is one BIG EXPENSIVE problem with this video.
iPhone Pro's are near or over 1000$ USD, the M200 is $400.
For 1000$ you can buy a camera that will destroy the iPhone Pro.

Yes smart phones replace cameras but for zoom you need a camera. I went on vacation for 2 months and thank God I did not take my dslr all I had is my iPhone 11 and a Canon powershot s110 for zoom shots that's all I needed and have fantastic photos of my trip. There's always someone out there that's wants around their neck 2 or 3 pounds of gear and look professional.

we all can keep talking for ages .. show us real world samples pictures videos autofocus systems and so ... i do own iphone 11 cause i don’t like 3 lenses looks and the telephoto lens not useable and i agree it’s good cameras but not even close to APSC

Maaaan am using iPhone 8 Plus. I wanted a camera and I looked at canon m200 mirror less and canon 2000d dslr both entry, and I was like oh noo newer iPhones shoot much better than these. I should just upgrade my smartphone makes sense

you have a biased towards apple, cuz we all know how expensive the iPhone 11 pro but i don't see you mentioning that, while the m200 is sub500 dollars. plus if you're gonna compare an entry level camera with a smartphone at that price. a camera at the price of the iPhone would be a completely different story.
