Smh, people continue to hate on Steph Curry, saying he is getting carried by his teammates. In fact Curry is the guy that keeps the Warriors from getting blown out, his plus/minus today: +20. Curry's backup point guard, Shaun Livingston: -21. Haha, people saying he is getting carried by Klay Thompson, his plus-minus was -6. Why do so many idiots go with that illogical thought? E.g. Shaq said that the other day, which shocked me since I thought a legend like him should know better.

By that logic, if we erased the whole western conference, the best player of the Hawks (Teague, Horford or Millsap) would get the MVP over Lebron.

Or if hypothetically, player A is the best player on his team, his teammates are very close to his skill level and they reach the #1 seed. However, player B is highly skilled but plays with complete scrubs yet his team reaches the #2 or #3 seed. If you take Player B off his team, then that team will be last no question. Yet, somehow Player A is the MVP.

Most valuable player = best player of best team is like saying 1+1=3
Please enlighten me if my logic is flawed.

Otherwise they should change it from MVP-award to "best player of best team"-award.
