I got taken to OSI during tech school for questioning. 1st Sergeant asked me to his office and told me to get in a vehicle. He wouldn't tell me where I was being taken, until we got to the OSI office. I don't think he had any idea what the investigation was about. I was never read my rights and was questioned about drug use and was asked about several other airmen at the unit. I told them i didnt know anything about anyone using drugs, which was the truth. They also asked me to associate several airmen with nicknames. I was scared to death, and even volunteered to take a piss test to clear my name. They didn't give me the test. Turned out some other airmen I had hung out with a few times had been doing drugs and my name got associated with theirs. Luckily the whole thing blew over for me and my best friend who also got questioned. I was only a 19yo E1 and didn't know shit about the process or my rights. I thought it would look bad for me if I didn't answer their questions and didn't know I had the option to say I wanted to end the interview. I kept my distance from the guys i was questioned about exept my best friend after that. A few of the other airmen ended up getting hammered a few months later and I never heard another thing about it.
