I went to see Kate live in NYC many years ago with great anticipation of hearing & seeing this drummer perform live. Turns out she had COMPLETELY changed her entire band from all men to all women. Wasn't the same. But I enjoyed the show. She is a very unique talent. Nobody else like her.

Certain songs take you back to very specific periods of your life. I'm not into music like this at all but the summer when it came out it was eveywhere and I was in my early 20s going from party to party toeing the line from the Twilight of youth to the start of real adulthood. Very of its time and gives me a yearning to be back there, then, doing exactly the same things with the same people.

100% perfect! That's uncredible. I love her voice, I love that she sings in a natural London working class accent with a proud chavyness to it. Makes me feel proud as a Londoner to know that we're represented in this way 😂 that we actually have a sound we can identify with.
