Someone on the video for Infinite’s theme pointed out how he’s kind of a brilliant villain on accident. His apparent reality warping abilities are all illusions, he acts like he has this tragic backstory, but he’s just mad Shadow called him weak, he spends all his time blustering and Eggman disposes of him once he’s done being useful.

They need to do something with him. He had so much potential and the whole weak thing bothers me. He was a leader, he lost his squad, and got messed up by shadow. But he was a proud mercenary and a leader. I feel like they should have played more into that. Or we look into the sonic forces rewritten iterations and use them because they actually do well for this Jackal.

It's very sad the way things turned out. I still think that Infinite the Jackal needed a chance to become Zero The Jackal again. Then again, Sega once again threw out a perfectly good story and didn't continue about Infinite. The only thing we can do now is create our own stories about Infinite. We can all make him look more evil, or make him look good again.

That's where creativity comes in.
