The plummeting cost of satellites is helping launch Britain into the space race.

A rocket carrying Welsh-designed components will take off from a space port based at a commercial airport in Cornwall, boosting the UK's space industry.

There's only one thing sky rocketing in the UK and it's called inflation😅🤣

I help run an Aerospace Technology talent agency, and this really excites me!

I love that the UK is developing spaceflight infrastructure, with already some incredible innovation. Watch this space :)

I think superpower at this stage is a bit much but it will be nice to see Brit's in space other than Branson.
( And soon we'll all be really excited about space 🙂 )

True space power lmao!!! give me a break, people in the UK really need to get over the colonial era and accept they are a small nation with a diminished role on the world stage.

What about a fair economy super power, while we're at it, starting at the fuel pumps, upwards, and everything else that's rocketing,

About time we did this. We were the scientific hub of the world yet never had a space program.

I always knew my space dream would eventually come to fruition!

All those years of watching 'Space 1999' many decades ago wasn't wasted.
My DIY home 'space station' I've been building, which comprises of my summer house (main living quarters), shed (maintenance unit), green house (eco environment for plant growing) and dog kennel (sleeping pod) all connected by an intricate network of tunnels, will be my future living in space after I get the necessary funding to launch it, of course followed by a few years of making it a space air bnb, I should be able to retire there and live the rest of my years on it.👍😳😁

Jeez, the UK just can't help with British Empire nostalgia. Now they're like:
*BRITANNIA RULES THE SPACE!!*

We might have been able to if we bothered to have our own independent nuclear deterrent instead of giving it up because then we actually made rockets, also globalisation meaning basically the exporting of our major manufacturing over the past 40 years means we couldn't do it the way it needs to be done, which I feel is what we would need for a successful space program

But why dont they launch verically. They are much easier that way .

I drive my car to the supermarket and I'm hammered to no end with tax, fuel, and maintenance costs, but launching satellites is becoming cheaper... What?
