One of the most feared movies of the late 70s, the Ramsays made this movie on a budget of 15lacs & the film grossed 70lacs. the reason for the success of this movie was the story script music casting & the feared cave monster.
seeing the massive response of this movie Bollywood A producers made a similar film Jaani Dushman which was semi hit with big actors actresses.
I remember people telling abt a challenge to watch this movie alone in theatre to win 1lakh & many collapsed watching it alone.
