Cut Acrylic with a Knife

I usually cut acrylic with the band saw or table saw. Using a knife is much easier and no mess.

For those that didn't get the correct results did you bend down on the longer end? In other videos I've seen where they mention this is required. Notice he has the short end on the table and bending down the longer side. Also he's doing it quickly. Others have used clamps to hold it down and use even weight to make the break.

Ive a Stanley knife hopefully it'll do the job...that was beautifully done by the way

What thickness is that? I have 1/8 inch (3mm) with small 2cm ends I need cut off. It won't snap easily.

Forgot to mention lraving top sheet on. That helps a lot. Plus the pressure on the other side. You made it seme like u scored it 3 times and take it to edge and just press down. No. Thats not why it cracked that easy.

Wtf I use a panel saw at work and it leaves nasty edges im gonna try this asap

I tried this on 3mm thick and it cracked

If you do a more complicated shape like the markings on my fursuit score both sides
