What do I think NAMM will be like going forward, and what will winter NAMM 2021 likey look like. Also, we'll take a look at Graphite bass necks. I've got two Modulus Quantum 5's and they are the best basses i've ever played.

I'm curious if there's an option to run a stereo input into that AMT pedal board and run separate signals. The reason I ask is that I also have a Chapman Stick and it's always cool to see portable solutions for that. Plus, it might be cool for people who have their basses wired stereo.

I agree 100%. I own 3 modulus Quantum 5 " wide" (21.5 mm string spacing) . Graphite Will make You a Better player because it reveals everything faulty about your playing. The sound is clear as no other bass is. Just add bartolini's quad coil pickups, swith to split into single coil and You'll hear the purest tone You can obtain, graphite are so clear that un fact You can tell the differences between string brands

What about when the description states graphite rods in the neck for reinforcement?

A big issues for me with bass is there just aren't that many cool shapes.. and the shapes I do like are usually super rare or super expensive

The AMT pedalboard blew my mind! Really innovative, looking forward to seeing where this kind of technology is heading for.
Regarding the amps side, don't you think the manufacturers are maybe being unfortunately "pushed out" since most people nowadays are using or raving about plugins, IRs, reamping and anything digital in general...
Don't get me wrong, it is amazing!
I personally love analog amps, and not playing to your level, I still rely on what's pushing air behind me to get heard 😉, but to some extent, I think I could understand if they were telling us R&D's time and budget is being allocated on other type of technologies because of that...

How did I miss Pangaea demo? And the AMT 1U?

Was at NAMM. Really impressed with most of the booths. Yamaha’s booth bummed me though. I’m a Yamaha fanboi but their staff would just huddle and chat with themselves ignoring customers. Also don’t understand why they have 3 boxes (not the actual gear) of beginners packages and 6 of the same Bluetooth amp. I just bought a Ampeg tube amp (Ampeg rep was MIA) and a Yamaha mixer. I wouldn’t have bought either had I not already bought that gear.

This AMT's pedalboard looks like an improved idea of pedalboard by another russian company - Yerasov. Though, the latter does not have power amp in a form of a pedal, so you can't really make a full pedal rig with just their pedals.

Klos guitars has made a bass guitar with a carbon neck. Wondered what you would think about that build.

Love your channel... so, perhaps your the one to ask something.

I have played bass professionally for almost 40yrs, and all from a wheelchair. My sitting is the weak point, as I look for a bass that fits, but looks good... no short scale for me. Looking for a full neck scale, but small body. I use modified Ibanez gios (four to six strings) which for the price were solid, and easy to mod... but still the bodies can be a bit much. Do you know of a bass with that criteria?

When the chip on that pedalboard starts malfunctioning, do you remove the pedal and blow in it like an NES cartridge?

I love the idea of a graphite neck but the expense puts me off. I love the look of the Status Streamline but again, that cost is way out of my arena. A graphite reinforced neck should work well enough for me - at least until I sell out and become a capitalist shill. Heel turn, baby!

While on the topic of composite basses, would love to see you review an Aristides. They are machined (neck and body) in one piece, and the look awesome imo

Greg of Bass Pluckers is awesome! I traded my Steinberger XL2 and cash for a Bogart 5 string. I love it. Best Graphite bass ever! The neck feels like a satin Maple neck! Thick sounding Bartolini Soapbars and flexible Nol 3 band preamp. Man, it nails the David Ellefson tone! Greg knows his stuff. I like visiting his shop, when I am in Wilmington. He loves EBMM Stingrays. He has shown me a lot of his personal collections! I don't regret meeting him nor dealing with him. If I ever wanna deal with a Bass store for a certain item, I will! Great Metal Bass Monday and Awesome of you to Plug Greg's shop! You rule, Rodney!
