Thank you but what if the Keyobard is not listed in Control Surface list ? Because we can use whatever Synth as a midi controler but no synth is listed. So what can we do ? Thanks

The link MIDI settings, I'm super confused. I have an audio interface connected, but is this saying I need something else connected? Under midi ports there's only an out option but not an in option. I can't get guitar to be recognized or record and in 3 hours into trying to figure out why and how. So frustrating
