Gronk had so many amazing plays in his two years in Tampa Bay! He was a big part of their dominant offense!

So Gronk still possessed the incredible hands and enormous catch radius. He could still block like a tackle. Still ran deceptively clean routes that allowed him to separate, but what a lot of Tampa fans don't realize is that Gronk was physically a step or two slower at that point in his career (and was still an absolutely monster tight end). But you can't understate what an incredible athlete Gronk was.

I wish Gronk wouldn't have gotten hurt & missed 5 games his 2nd year with Tampa. He was well on his way to having 1, 100 yards 10 TDs but he got hurt after a hot start he had like 4 TD through the first few games. And then they tried bringing him back too soon before the bye, and it set him back and missed more games. He still finished with over 800 yards in just 12 games! They probably would've gone on to win another 💍 that year if Godwin doesn't get injured, and AB retiring mid game vs the Jets.
