Waterproofing and Backfilling Nudura ICF Basement Foundation

I think I would feel better having a drainage mat between the waterproofing and the back fill, especially if the basement is going to be finished. My biggest concern with using ICF for my build is getting the waterproofing right. Once water gets behind the waterproofing it could pond and end up drying to the inside.

what is the sprayer you was using? Did you get the water proofing from Nudura or where?

Is the spray-on waterproofer only necessary below grade?

this is interesting... our builder didnt use that blue spray and only used the membrane at floor level. not all the way to the footing. they said thats how its supposed to be done? ....

Nice application job. No bulges or bubbles or anything in the waterproofing! DEAD FLAT INSTALL!

And nice careful backfill. If this place has water problems, you're looking at a Biblical flooding issue.

Your lungs like breathing fresh clean air… I know it was a hot day and a mask won’t be comfortable with such a luxuriant beard, but please protect your lungs (and eyes) while spraying!!
