Either cost of living has to come down or wages have to match. Keep it simple

Many are tired of the abuse and low pay. Corporations never cared about their workers!

I started my own business during the pandemic, and it's doing well. I'm not interested in working for someone else while my dreams rot on the back burner.

These days in the US even with a college degree and fulltime employment jobs paying $40, 000 a year is not enough to eat and pay rent with the current cost of living...hard and sad.

People need stability before they can work. They need to know that their kid will be in school and that classes won't go remote. They need to know that their parents and loved ones are going to be cared for and healthy. They need to know that when they do work, they will be able to afford the cost of living. They need to know that they won't get sick while working.

We can pay ENDLESS-unimaginable amounts of money for a 20-YEAR-long worthless war, but we can't seem to find the funds to help the American people in unstable times, for even 1 year.

I apply and never hear back, I have good qualifications and am fully vaccinated. Seems like wage slavery is all that’s open.

The problem is so many jobs are not paying a living wage.

I’m unemployed because I don’t want to deal with the general public anymore.

The jobs don't match the skills. Also, people are cautious about their health.

A 2, 000 dollar sign on bonus is good, but how about a promise to (significantly) increase pay after working a certain amount of time

At 15$ an hour FULL time is not enough for me in the place I reside to have SAFE housing, insurance for my vehicle, health insurance, healthy food in the fridge and pantry, money to put away for savings and this all before me having to have the privileged necessities like a cellular device, home internet, electric, water etc and I don’t even have kids! I can’t imagine trying to support a family off of that. It’s ridiculous. If I could save to move to a more affordable place that would be great but then the cycle starts all over again because wages are lower.

Businesses having a tough time finding workers? Baloney! I am very much looking and am a active senior who is fairly tech savvy and I can't find a office clerical type job. I think it's age discrimination.

Honestly people are tired of the bs interview questions. Y'all hiring or not? Interviews are for you to be judged by everything else besides work experience or education.

Maybe try making sure some of those huge corporations profits and salaries start going to the workers, without the workers there are no profits.

I can't guarantee that my son's school will stay open and I'm a single mom. So I volunteer to give back to the community but they know my situation.
