It's become a world of adapting and letting go. Lamborghini made an SUV called Urus and sales doubled. BMW made a front wheel drive 1 series. Chevrolet is now selling a mid engined supercar. If you don't adapt, you don't get sales in the market.

'Heavy engine' Lol funny how people think big displacement = heavy weight, without realizing that LS/ LT platform weigh less than most DOHC V8s that are smaller in displacement
