Houston we have a problem... R6 CHAIN & SPROCKET INSTALL

Finally got around to swapping out the chain and sprocket on my R6. The question is was it worth it? I kept the stock gearing and only went for the 520 conversion. Also had a little hiccup on the test ride. 😬

FYI: On the 2017+ R6 you don’t have to worry about correcting the speedometer. It will automatically correct itself because it has speed sensors on the front and rear wheels.
I am going down 1 tooth on my front sprocket on my 2020 R6…

Just changed out my chain & sprocket on my gixxer 750, went down 1 on the front feels so fucking nice

Your shirt should read "I ride an R6 and the ZX6R is faster"... I have the 2020 R6 and a 2003 ZX6RR. R6 touches 167, ZX6RR is flickering 176-177. It's not a fish tale.

Lol in my defense I didn't know how a different sprocket size could change the speedometer when I made this claim on my first bike 😂😂😂😭🤦

No ive never done 180 mph on An R6 ever but i have hit 176mph on the 2000 model as i was i was chasing a run race preped R6 at the time and he even asked to have a go of the bike after words to witch he did and said it is faster than his race prepped one. Why??? because i ran it properly from new i never ever had to use a cold chark for it ever even at cold, so i will say this if you don't run it properly maybe not but if you do then vcery possible, as for you well obviously cant 180mph on yours because it been run in properly at all.
