This is the first in a series of videos designed to give you a basic idea how MicroStation works in 3D. In this video we start by open an existing project to show where to find tools and how to navigate in the project.
We also review how to switch between Cartesian and Polar coordinates and how to place points and lines in the model. With our lines in place, we use solids modeling to extrude our simple building shape, modify the solid and choose our display style.

Is there a video demonstrating how to use the features in the modeling menu in OpenRoads Designer? Each time I try to apply the sweep edge tool doesnt do what I am trying to accomplish. Same goes to edit feature, modify solid, and trim solid. So it would be helpful to see a video doing basic stuff. Most videos show terrain stuff which its not helping me at the moment. Thank you.

I could not recreate your "tentative+shift+mousewheel" to orbit around a point. Yet, I could extend a functionality I'm aware of and I use every day and it is that I trigger the orbit mode with "alt+mousehweel down" usually I drag the orbit icon manually to the snap I whant to rotate about but thanks to your tip discovered that doint tentative it move the icon more ocnveniently.
