Those Uniqlo wide leg pleated trousers- I pulled out a pair of Matalan trousers I used for work from 15 years ago that cost me about £20 and they were absolutely identical for measurements, fit and material. Made me chuckle.

I hadn't really thought about trousers since school. Because, well, *school*, and presuming beyond school wasn't for trousers.
The Uniqlo trousers look fabulous, really elegant.

In the same way I hadn't been about jumpers until last winter - when I got a few which carried me through merrily right through the cold weather - so, trousers are now in the mix.

Also, I appreciate you highlighting stores I'd not heard of before, particularly when the prices aren't out of my reach a bit [although bookmarked for sales!]
