I get it now, this is one way to engage in spiritual warfare, because joy and sadness can’t both be at the mic in your soul at the same time🎙️

Just like cortisol and dopamine both can’t be at the same level in the body, one will increase while the other decreases!

Mm. That is so so good.

I would sing, "Praise will confuse the enemy, " & "Worship is my weapon, " etc etc. But I never truly looked at rejoicing as spiritual warfare until now. Even though I looked at it as not giving into the enemy; trying to encourage your soul; rejecting dejection to focus on the Lord, I never truly saw all of that in the proper context as actively engaging in spiritual warfare, especially in a way of closing the door & shutting down a monologue that would carry one emotion to another. Even though I knew if you sit in negative emotions, they grow! 😂
It's like, you learn these things in pieces but it takes someone saying it aaalll together in a certain way for you to be like, "Oh my gosh, DUH! I knew that but didn't know that! How did I not grasp it like that? This makes way more sense!" 😭😂

So praise God for the revelation & specific wording! How encouraging. Thank You, Holy Spirit for giving it to Pastor Flowers this way so that he could relay it to us!!! 😍🙌🏽💜💜💜
