This version of the Sanctus was composed by Mr. Owen Alstott, from the album “Heritage Mass”. This version can be sung during the Lenten Season. The Sanctus is echoed in the Palm Sunday episode when the Lord Jesus enters the holy city of Jerusalem, and the people welcomed him with palm branches. “Hosanna” is the cry of the people, that the Lord may give us salvation.
