Thanks for doing my request and your reaction! As I said before I think they are another underrated Australian band. Apparently the song is written for a female friend of the band and her connection to tribal lands or country in Central Australia. Nakamarra is a skin name or tribal name. I believe it's about being grateful to country and appreciating this particular place. I assume they also filmed the music video there. I'm glad you liked it. 🙏😃 They have also done a remix of this song with Q-Tip. They're also touring the US as we speak. ✌

one of the best "players" bands around, period. nai uses her voice as an additional or accompanying instrument with a rhythm section that almost defies reality. rnb, classic soul, and rock training all the way. they video was filmed in the middle of australia.

I always feel the same way about her voice. It just flows all over the music they make and draws you in. Must see live, she's even better in my opinion.! Look at the Laputa joint with Anderson Paak. Straight fire!
