I first came across JMG and his vids way back when he was one of those rare gems on YouTube that I knew just had to grow into a much bigger audience.

The meteor crater in India makes me wonder if this was a seminal event in the creation of Indian religions, where it is believed that the gods once held atomic-like wars against each other. Witnessing the strike may have created oral traditions carried down through the centuries of what was thought to be a great war in the far past.
