GFF19: Chained for Life

The second feature from director Aaron Schimberg, Chained for Life is a multi-layered, meta film within a film that challenges the portrayal and treatment of disabilities on screen and on set. We spoke to lead actor Adam Pearson ahead of the film's Scottish premiere at Glasgow Film Festival 2019.

Hey Adam first time seeing your documentary on YouTube. I like to say to you. that you are a unique one of a kind human being.. when God mode you. he mowed you just the way he wanted you to be. You are awesome!!. You are unique. You are one of a kind special human being. You have your own fingerprints like everyone else. Your face is like a work of art beautiful!!! You remind me of an innocent child. Even as we all grow older. You have such a pure innocence about you. A compassion about you. And I know that you are a compassionate person. Our Lord loves and compassion heart. . You are like a diamond in a rut yes.. A diamond in a rut. bursting out the sky. with wide stretch arms!!! with a heart as wide as to sea. All you want to do is love. And so many people reject that love from a kind soul. They don't understand that this world is a testing ground. God created this world for us all to learn. To learn the meaning of love. To love your brothers and sisters. Learn a person before you hate a person. Because that very same person that you hurt. Maybe the one to save your life.
