For the maiden voyage, I took the DJI Phantom 4 with me on my trip to Sedona, Arizona. The gorgeous rock formations made for the perfect test subjects!

This was my first flight with the Phantom 4 and the first time using a DJI camera. I had some issues with color due to accidentally leaving the camera set to Auto White Balance. I will be experimenting with the settings more in the future.

Full review of the Phantom 4 coming soon!

It'a amazing how music selection boosts up the overall process in aerial videos. Well in all sorts of video bu aerial videos tend to be sunken more if wrong music is added.

Was the funky stuff going on throughout some shots on the sky due to your compression for youtube or was that how the footage actually looks? Curious as it was the only place I noticed it. I enjoyed the edit nonetheless!

Can not wait to test fly mine the fist time, this Sunday. Since March 17th that I got the drone, I wanted to make sure I have everything that I need for my p4 before i fly it. Just need to get a lanyard.😀

Awesome video! I'm going to Las Vegas, Zion, and the Grand Canyon and was wondering whether you know what the laws and regulations are for flying drones in these area. Also, do you have any recommendations on where to fly my drone?

If you see up in the sky at 00:57 there's lots of banding going on....same thing is happening to me with my Phantom 4. It's like a bunch of blocks show up in bright skies.

Beautiful video and colours. Did you colour-grade the footage or is it out of the camera?

Epic video! The music was perfect. Did you choose to crop the video to widescreen anamorphic to crop the blades out or just because it looks nice? I noticed the blades for one second during the video. I'm ultimately wondering how much they interfered during your shooting.

Other than shooting D-Log, did you adjust the picture settings at all? Like sharpness/contras/saturation?

And did you use 3D noise removal?

Great video!

Did you use a nd filter if so which one?

It's not the h264 export, these artifacts show up in the DJI raw footage. I am finding that when you turn off the noise reduction of all things in the DJI Go app, you get cleaner footage with less issues like this.

Can I asked you what program you are using to edit the 4k raw files? I am trying to figure out my raw files when I import into CS6 Premier Pro and it gets very choppy.

I am on a Mac. Which video editor did you use for this video?
