Great video, just wanted to mention the session @3:18, the reason you were unable to get on foil was primarily down to weight placement. During takeoff most foils (especially larger ones) require more front foot pressure. (can be seen in the video as the foil rises and quickly stalls out). Also in this segment whilst taxi'ing both legs are straight, but as the board gains speed the back leg bends and body leans back, causing the foil to stall out due to excessive angle of attack.

Thanks for sharing! This location looks like an absolute dream. No visible chop in 18+ knots. We get 1-1.5m breakers in those conditions, which makes the intermediate phase of taxiing and popping up very challenging

That’s awesome man. Cool to see you progress. I’m visiting Waves, North Carolina to take my first wingfoil lessons. I start tomorrow as long as we have wind. Thanks for this! After 15+ years in windsurf(slalom+formula) I was wondering how tough it would be to transit in wingfoiling. I plan to buy 7.0m wing and 145lt wing (i am 105kg) board, hoping to master super light winds(8-10kts), when windsurf gear can't plane...
