I completely agree as a majority of women are narcissistic by nature. And I’ve experienced their narcissistic abuse in every relationship. This shit is actually crazy. Went out last night for a birthday party of this girl who my friend is sort of trying to get with. Completely agree. To me the signal that i should be more hmm narcisstic, confident, vocalize "me" was when my very close female friend being to me like a sister said once - "sometimes you should be more vocal, more confident, more 'hell yeah thats me'".
And she was 100% true. In my family it was more about being humble, doing than talking, and thats how i was raised.
She said that i have an amazing job, im doing super interesting projects in a sector that can be boring but im rather silent. Sometimes she was doing something like marketing me (when ie introducing to new friends etc): "he's doing this super duper project bla bla" and i was like "yeah, ok" as if i was afraid to admit: hell yeah, im awesome at things i specialize, as if i was afraid that somebody would think that im narcisstic.

One advice, practice. Compare yourself to other men around you. Are they seem more confident, vocal than you even if you have hmm much better job or look or whatever? If answer is yes then you should change a bit, be a bit less humble.
