Interview with a Bedouin (Petra, Jordan)

What is a Bedouin? I wasn’t sure either, but on our trip to Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, we took a donkey trip to the top of one of the attractions, and I interviewed “Why Not,” (not his real name!), and he shared his story, including his father with three wives, his grandfather who lives in a cave, what it’s like to live in such an iconic location, and what his future holds for him. During our “donkey to donkey” conversation, my wife’s donkey ran amuck (3:50 into the video), and Abdullah had to rescue her. Truly a memorable conversation.
