The original song of Living Doll in the film Serious Charge was a lot faster than this, they were asked to record it for their next single and none of them liked it, so Bruce Welch slowed it down to give it its country feel. This was the first record that Hank played the Stratocaster on, giving Cliff and the Shads a new sound, the rest is history!

A wonderful romantic song and presentation adored by both my wife and I since our courting says when it was the top of the hit parade until now, with my wife having died on 2nd November 2020. This was played at her funeral even though it was a military funeral, other than that. It was sandwiched between two regimental slow marches and enjoyed as a memory by many. Constantly we were awash with beautiful memories thanks to this piece of music. Thank you to all concerned with it's existence and release.
