I found this application method always gave me a slight gap between each half of the cut lash strip so the lashes sort of looked split in two on my eye (slightly noticeable but enough to annoy me. It kind of looks like \\\/// if that makes sense). I’ve found it easier to only cut the bottom lash strip so the top looks like one continuous lash.

This is such a good idea!! Without glue it's impossible to have both sides sticking down I'm gonna try this tomorrow

I was confused what she was saying to do. Was she saying still put both on as normal, 2, 1/2's on top & bottom and putting them on as 4 pieces instead of 2 make that not happen. Sorry.

what style of lashes are the ones in this video?

They dont work. Maybe because the US version of the lashes only have magnets per lash instead of the 4 connection points that hers serm to have.
No way to cut evenly and one side will be with only one connwction point.

Plus...this Ardell applicator is impossible...what sorcery will make the applicator release its hold at the precise second that the lashes magnets meet. Have they talked in advance during their looong wait on the shelf, (since everyone but us 5 ladies have moved on)
