So, i learnt. Mouth is class 3 lever. In which fulcrum is the elevating muscles, effort is close to fulcrum and R is derpressing muscles.
Diff. Forces that acts of distal exntension rpd. 1) Sagittal for which we use clasps rentenvie (below height of contour i.e max high/bulge of tooth)and reciprocal clasp(above H.O.Contour). 2)Vertical/Frontal which in general looks like a roatary motion, 3)Horizontal forces.. which is a bit eccentric in action.

And we got it. That is a impression plate not rpd mam :p. Thankyou for video.

a very nice lecture ma, am but the thing is i want to clear here as you say( longitudinal axis act in horizontal plane ) but in actual longitudinal axis acts in frontal plane not in horizontal as you do with impression tray and the vertical axis which you are showing with pen is actually act in horizontal plane please make a correction in it

Nice lecture mam. I would like to add here fulcrum - condyle, effort - muscles, and resistance- molar region. For high mechanical advantage effort arm should be greater than resistance arm i.e. effort and fulcrum should be close and resistance and fulcrum should be away. As here fulcrum and effort are fixed, we can change only effort arm. So molars increases the mechanical advantage.

Hi doc, nice video... looking forward for more prosthodontic lectures but please don't use english ONLY, I know it may shock you as many people asked for it but the fact is there are many videos in english by other people and you were different & outstanding for explaining in simple language back then plus person can understand more in their own language, that's the reason I had loved videos on CD...sorry for bothering and thank you 🙂
