Finally read an English translated vs of the web novel, and I suddenly not only love Arc more but understand him being an overpowered hero. In the first chapter, he explains that how he got the avatar that he would become, and mentioned that he wanted a golden skeleton so he would be “the crazed hero of Justice”. To those it may not be apparent to, that’s easily a reference to the Golden Bat, one of Japan’s oldest superheroes and something of a coin flip of Superman. In a sense, Arc’s whole deal is an homage to bat. I like it.

2 be honest the anime adaptation is real bad. It’s as if they replaced most of the blood n gore scenes with ecchi scenes

This is that one show i dropped like a hot potato. I was interested at first but then it got boring real fast. I think i stopped watching around episode 5 or 7 or something
