Hi there, my name is Leo and run a studio on the westside of Norway where I do music and video stuff for youtube. I also have a band called Frog Leap, where we do my metal covers live.

I saw Charlie Daniels on stage, this was a few months before he passed away. He walked on the stage like he owned it and I was, I am ashamed to say, wondering if an old guy like him could manage this song like he did when he was young. But he did - he played it flawlessly. There he was, an old grandpa looking guy, and he was just sawing away on his fiddle. It was SO DARN FAST. No mistakes. I feel really lucky that I got to see him. It wasn't even my plan to, someone else bought me the ticket. But I can honestly say I witnessed a real piece of Americana. There'll never be another like him.

Charlie Daniels actually used to frequent the area here and play fiddle for a friend of his that had cancer. Hopefully they're chilling together again now.
