Shein accused of 'mafia-style intimidation' in new lawsuit from Temu

Temu is suing Shein again, saying the company is using "mafia-style intimidation" of suppliers to restrict its expansion in the U.S. Part of the complaint claims Shein would detain suppliers it thought were doing business with Temu and threaten to punish them for working with its rival. Shein said the lawsuit is "without merit." Susan Scafidi, founder and director of Fordham University's Fashion Law Institute, joined CBS News to discuss the suit.

I am amazed at just how many people buy SHEIN and other fast fashion brands. Stuff wears out fast and due to the materials and design is really hard to repair.

SHEIN and Temu have the same product as Amazon. Amazon sellers buy their inventory from Alibaba and put their brand on the products. Prices on Amazon end up higher compared tomorrow SHEIN and Temu which they both also are market place. Several brands in the world are unethical as well as these two market places. Too bad they are just more successful

We should support American companies and small business in American. Both Shein and temu are accused of supporting companies that use child labor.

Cheap, tacky and trendy is gonna sell like hotcakes. I remember growing up when it was only forever 21 and rainbow lol. Shein and Temu have taken it to a whole other level. Extremely unethical as well as unsafe clothing due to the chemicals used to make the clothing. Most have cancer causing agents smh

For those that are saying Not to support the Chinese companies or China products well… a lot of car parts are made in China including some of the German cars too, so perhaps, buy only Made in the US cars, I assumed no parts are Made in China? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Smoke Screen, What's goimg to happen is 6 months, maybe a year all the suppliers who have never been paid, ever, will be in the news. Mafia Style, open until thr supply ends. Then it's "Zippo" time to the insured warehouse.
