Houthis TRIED to HIT U.S. Aircraft Carrier – WRONG SHIP...

Tensions in the Red Sea have reached a boiling point. On April 1st and 2nd, 2025, Houthi rebels launched a wave of armed drones targeting the USS Harry S. Truman, one of the most powerful aircraft carriers in the U.S. Navy fleet.

In this video, we break down how the Houthis attempted to strike the wrong ship — and how the Truman Strike Group responded with flawless precision, from CIWS bursts to SM-2 missile launches and electronic warfare by EA-18G Growlers.

Operating near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, this carrier group represents America's commitment to maritime security in one of the world’s most contested waters. But with Iranian-backed drones in play, the threat is evolving fast.

Will drone warfare reshape naval combat as we know it? Will large ships like the Truman remain dominant in this changing battlefield? #houthis #usnavy #military

Tensions in the Red Sea keep rising...
🤔 Do you think the Houthis are trying to send a serious message?
🔥 How far can this go before things spiral out of control? 👇

I served on a carrier during the Vietnam War and even though it was built in the late forties it was 980 feet long and 210 feet wide. Even in the early sixties it was a beast.
Working on the flight deck was quite an experience for a 19 year old kid.

I served on the USS Enterprise in the early 1980s. The phalanx Gatlin guns were on both sides of the ship and one on the back. I witnessed a test of this system and it is very impressive. A target towed by a navy plane on a cable miles long was locked on to and pushed all over the place erratically. Once the football size target was in range the gun went to work. Sounds like a huge chainsaw and the target didn't stand a chance. That gave me a sense of security to see how effective it was.

Excellent program! I am a great believer in America’s military and very proud of all of our veterans!

What pleased and surprised me about your program was that I was able to follow and understand all of it even though I do not have a full knowledge of military capabilities and jargon. Thank-you for your fine work! I am now subscribed.

The CIWS WAS NOT THE LAST RESORT IT WAS THE CHEAPEST RESORT. The drones were slow enough to where they weren't worried at all. The Destroyers got the missiles.
