USPS workers have paid fully into Social Security & Medicare since 1983. Working 11 years or more, and paying fully into Soc. Security, Public Employees should be eligible for S.S. Retirement benefits like anyone else, without their S.S. Benefits being reduced by the sum of their retirement pension.

But the rest of us get that measly 2.5% cost of living raise when inflation is at least 3 times that. Cut Congressional salaries, eliminate Congressional retirement benefits, make Congress live on what the rest of us make, then they would know what living in the country their policies created was like.

All I ask is to make above poverty level money. $1300 a month is crazy no wonder people are stealing. A lot of people make less than that so I am grateful that I have a roommate situation.
