The biggest surprise to me is why he’s only been charged with attempted second degree murder.

There’s obviously enough evidence to ask a jury to agree the suspect planned a killing so I’m confused why everyone isn’t asking questions about the charge itself.

As for his plea, surely that’s because he believes he was justly carrying out a legal decree and/or to keep the story in the headlines for longer.

Why do you think he’s not been charged with attempted first degree murder? Is this likely to be an interim charge while they gather all the evidence?
