I think my profile picture prevents me from getting accused of being a fanboy

My favourite things about each:
1. Apple: Design, craftsmanship, keynotes.
2. Google: Creativity, reliability, FREE SHIT YAY.
3. Microsoft: Windows, constantly pushing boundaries, their new craftsmanship.

Things that I hate about each:
1. Apple: Price, simplicity (my opinion, some people love the simplicity), their new trend of removing everything and the fact that their fanboys are SOMETIMES ignorant about everything else because of the brand name. Basically, they think Apple = God.
2. Google: Kinda hard to find something wrong, but if I had to, it would be their monopoly over everything in their category. It slows down progress because there is no one to challenge them, so they can progress as slow as they want.
3: Microsoft: Bugs, Bugs, Bugs.

People are adding the fact that Google also has basically 0 privacy, but I think that's the way the internet works now. Feel free to disagree.

Microsoft created the age of PCs, Apple created the age of smartphones, and Google advanced the age of the internet. Earth would not be the same without the technology they developed.

The worst thing about fanboys is when they are naive and not willing to accept facts.

So my ears pricked at "OneNote". I am a huge OneNote fan. My day job is Project Manager and I run all of my projects in OneNote. My alter-ego is writing and I write my books in OneNote. This software is the best software MS has created in a decade. Use it. Know it. Love it.

I know the feeling.. After 9 years iPhone, i switched to Note 8. I was scared to death to do it, first 2 days where nervous but after that i'm impressed and like it. You just need to turn off the fanboy/hater modus and you will be fine. Switching from good to other good is not bad at all :)

What I love about this is that you decided to say positive and not negative things. To encourage others to be thoughtful and kind as well. you could have listed things you hate about each company but you didn't. Well done sir.

Apple: Despite being closed systems, the system that they have closed is still incredibly useable and is better than a lot of things like it. It's also durable, (which I can't say for a lot of other things) which for a phone that needs to stay working is absolutely essential.

Google: Android is soooo open and wonderful, it still has its own place in my workflow (just not as a phone, just like Apple is not useful for me as a tablet). It's open design is so much nicer for certain things that I use it for tablet work which needs more. Downside to using both is I don't have the inter connectivity, but they still work somewhat well.

Microsoft: I use their OS because it's simple to use and has most of the stuff I use on it (I still plan on moving to dual boot Linux eventually though)
