Anton, you are an inspiration to men everywhere. Highly educated, passionate, active, and compassionate. How you have the time to run a youtube channel, keep a family, read educational information daily, nigh constantly, is superhuman. Youre my superhero

Find some moss and you'll find some Tarigrades. I remember spending hours in my room as a young boy looking at pond water through my cheapo microscope. Never ending sense of wonder of how rich in life- even the smallest things are in our wonderful planet!

The difference between Science and "just screwing around" is taking meticulous notes, and then sharing said notes ❤

Hello Anton, I can assure you, that not only 5 yo boys, want to see a Tardigrade in "real life" - from a 56 yo man, eagerly awaiting that video. Cheers!

Honestly tardigrades developing their key survival ability just in time to flip the bird to the Great Dying makes all the sense in the world.

Best of luck for Yuri's scientific endeavor. May it prove to be, in that classic Petrovian turn of phrase, iconic and beautiful.

I really need to express how blissfully happy it made me to watch the little animation of the tardigrade just floating all stiff in zero g.... Like watching him do that made me realize I'll never be as happy as a tardigrade floating all fat and stiff and stubby in zero g....

Your son has the best dad ever. Teaching him stuff for life. That is how you ignite the flame or sow the seed for curiosity

12:19 I love all your videos. So I hope you don't take this the wrong way. The ending is always the best part of all your videos. It's so beautiful. And that soundscape. It sounds just like the one in Mass Effect. A game I used to play. When I played games. It kept me company, for a long time. Thank you.

My 5 year old self would love to see you use the microscope on these things as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

My sister was using an electron microscope and saw a tardigrade walking around inside, in a high vacuum, being bombarded with electrons .

I wonder how many great scientific achievements were born of the desire to satisfy a child's curiosity? Thanks, Anton!
