This album I bought at flea market in 1980. and sounds a bit like Animals, but an excellent album maybe the best of Gilmour and thanks for this upload !

If I remember correctly this was released in 1978, great air play for this song, but the whole album has numerous gems on it. Was a great time for rock music still and happy that Gilmour took a break from P-Floyd and put this out after Animals.

This song has kind of a George Harrison vibe to it, only darker and more solemn, as opposed to light and positive, like a Harrison was. It's like the yin to George's yang. It doesn't sound like any of George Harrison songs in particular. But, there are some very subtle elements in this song that remind me of George Harrison. I could break them down, but it probably wouldn't help. You either hear it or you don't. Today, I heard it for the first time since the song came out in 1978. Tomorrow, I might not hear it.

Pink Floyd with Roger Waters may be even better than Pink Floyd without him, but the Pink Floyd from the David Gilmour`s era (after 1987) is much better than the Roger Waters in solo career just as David Gilmour's work solo was always much, much better than any Roger Waters solo work, no comparision...
