Xi Calls for New Progress in Special Friendly Relations Between China, Cuba

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday called for new progress in the special friendly relations between China and Cuba, when meeting with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez on the sidelines of the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa's Johannesburg.

Cuba has been getting punished by US with economic stranglehold since 1970’s for joining then Soviet Union for Cuban missile crisis. We invaded Cuba with the bay of pigs and completely placed on the right leash by America ever since. That’s over 50 years of punishment and enough is enough. I love America but I think Cuba should be let go from economic embargo. Perhaps China will alleviate from this forever punishment.
