So I see you working on a calm ewe. I just finished the same job - got 18 of 50 done. Got kicked, screamed at and I’m sure one of my ewe’s had a cardiac event. Another started to choke so I finished then. On the upside my back isn’t really sore

I would think the ewes would enjoy chillin on their back for a few minutes. 😁 🐑

Love your video blogs, been a shepherd for 25 years and still learning stuff!:) Your tasavax is a live vaccine so you should put one needle into the bottle and leave it there and just change out needle to inject animal. this stops the vaccine from getting contaminated from all the different animals (different than for antibiotic injection). Also dont recap your needle/syringe after injecting your sheep cus it increases your chance of getting stuck and getting yourself infected from the sheep. Keep up the great work.

Is your flock housed under cover all year round? Saves on the coyotes and wild dogs.
We hardly ever had to trim hooves due to the sheep being outdoors with nice rock outcrops.
Bath County Virginia.
