3.5mm jack + flat display (really a great display) and 7 gen+2 is a big win for me. Bought this for family member

the OS support is not an issue for me cuz of custom ROMs and Poco phones are well supported by the community. I just hate MIUI with their delayed notifications, I don't mind the ads because they gotta make some money but they have to fix the notification issue.

it comes in 3 colors. The 3rd color is electric blue. And its processor is Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 not Gen 1

Watching in poco f5 🤩, no phone is perfect, i had Samsung A53, which was like goods train, but this is like a bullet train, i agree camera is not that good, but yeah I don't take photos daily, 😜

Been a fan of Xiaomi since Redmi 1S and Poco F1. Believe me or not, it's still working until now because of wide Hardware/Software 3rd party supports . Using F5 btw. i guess a am a Xiaomi/Poco fan boy 😅

Correction:it is snapdragon 7+gen 2 and not 7+gen 1
And yes, it is not a sponsored video.

They should provide good service in their service centres like oneplus did with the issue of green screen .

Been using the f1 for around 5 years and had no issues outside the ordinary

I'm buying it, I mean I ordered it from flipkart and it hasn't arrived though. What attracts me the most is the snapdragon 7 plus gen 2, which is a very fast and capable processor, almost as fast as snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1, though it lacks behind in GPU, though it's still a great GPU, just not in the level of Adreno 730. Besides snapdragon 7 plus gen 2 SoC, I love the 12 - bit (68B colors) AMOLED display, HDR+, Dolby Vision and 1000 nits brightness, and the bezels are very small, which makes it very good to look at it. The 5, 000 mAh battery with 67W charging is also a plus point, although 120W charging would be a nice addition but I'm not complaining about 67 W, too. I wish I could hold it in my hand already

You forgot to mention about bezels the bezels are extremely thin. It looks aesthetically pleasing.

I was going to buy the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, for $299. Same as the Poco F5 but cheaper. 1 month ago I bought the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ for $299. Great Phone. To replace my Poco X3 GT had it for over 2 years. I'm still thinking about buying the Redmi Note 12 Turbo now for $249. Or the Redmi K60 for $299. As a second phone. Both are Great Deals for the Money. I live in Chicago USA.

Hi from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico! very nice video. I am close to deciding if I should buy this phone. I kind of want to say yes now. You mention only 2 years of OS updates, but for me this is perfect because I get bored of my phones in that time and I want to upgrade to another new mid ranger! Right!? I have used many phone brands but have never used a Xiaomi or Poco, so I am not 100% confident. I heard some things about bugs, and this scares me a little bit. but I think Poco brand is mature now, offering 2 years of warranty gives piece of mind. thanks again.

The major issues like motherboard are mostly happened on indian variant due to poor quality and build. And global/chinese variant don't have those problem all the time. Even my cousin who used poco x3 pro is still alive even after 3 years of usage, since his phone is global variant, not indian.

I'm not sure about the Indian market, but for the UK version, it has NFC. And it has the SD 7+ Gen 2 for the UK market.

Everything is sounding epic, if the internals quality is way better than on the F2.

However did you say no NFT? I find paying with my phone very handy at situations and missing this would be a huge loss.

Interesting.

I've been using a Mi 9T for 2 years which was absolutely incredible. Then, I have been using Poco X3 pro for 2 years after that. And both were absolutely brilliant. Xiaomi gets a lot of shit for their software and there are reports of people where they had issues after an update. Maybe I'm the only lucky person in the world but this never happened to me.

On the contrary. My phone fell into the toilet and I had to change a part. Works perfectly again.

My only issue is the camera because it's actually not very good on this device.

I think the no NFC thing is a india variant problem.

You forgot to mention the display is 12bit. that means far more colours than a 10 bit display.

Anyone happy with the battery?
I got the phone two days ago. I do not play games on it. Just daily use of Social Media, Messaging apps with normal brightness of screen (less than 50%). The phone uses 1% like every 6-7 minutes.
When the phone is off and the WiFi on, it uses like 5 percents in 3 hours.
Do you think it's normal and good?
